Primeboy turns himself in to the police in Mohbad for questioning
Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy, has voluntarily presented himself for questioning in connection with the death of Afrobeats artist Mohbad, as confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command.
Following the declaration of Primeboy as wanted for not responding to an earlier invitation, Police spokesperson Ben Hundeyin announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Primeboy is now in police custody. The police assure a thorough investigation and justice for Mohbad, emphasizing that all those involved will be held accountable.

In a related development, a Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos ordered the remand of Azeez Fashola (Naira Marley), Samson Balogun Eletu (Sam Larry), and two others in police custody for 21 days regarding Mohbad’s death.
Despite the police’s request for a 30-day detention, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun decided on a shorter period. The court directed the remand of the suspects at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCID) and granted them access to medical attention and legal representation.
The investigation into the tragic demise of Mohbad continues, with Naira Marley and Sam Larry being key subjects.
