In a jaw-dropping revelation, two suspects, Adama Joseph and Oreoluwa Davies, recently apprehended in connection with the brutal murder of Kwara club owner, Adeniyi Ojo, have shared the gruesome account of the fateful night. The chilling tale of murder and intrigue unfolded as the duo was paraded by the Nigerian Police in Abuja on Wednesday evening.

The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, provided the harrowing details of the case during the press conference. “On October 6, 2023, police operatives apprehended the two suspects, Adama and Oreoluwa, both students at Kwara State Polytechnic. Their involvement in the robbery and murder of Mr. Adeniyi Ojo, son of Chief Emmanuel Ojo, a prominent figure in Ilorin, Kwara State, was exposed through meticulous investigative work,” ACP Adejobi explained.

What unraveled on that tragic night is beyond comprehension. The suspects had allegedly lured the victim, Adeniyi Ojo, under the pretense of engaging in a sexual encounter. However, their intentions took a sinister turn when he failed to meet their monetary demands. The suspects resorted to drugging and suffocating Ojo, ultimately leading to his untimely demise.

In their own words, the suspects offered their chilling account. Adama stated that the victim had been pressuring her for a sexual relationship over time, citing her previous employment under him. After quitting her job, Ojo failed to provide financial support when needed. Oreoluwa corroborated Adama’s version of events.

“We had completed our ND program at Kwara Polytechnic before the incident happened. We didn’t plan to kill him,” Adama admitted. “On that particular day, we intended to steal from him, so we told him that we wanted to do BDSM, and he agreed to have a threesome with me and my friend, Oreoluwa.”

Their plan took a dark turn as they tied the victim’s hands and legs. When they couldn’t find any money in his pockets, they decided to drug him. In an attempt to silence Ojo, they placed a pillow over his face. Believing he was merely pretending, the suspects left him, unaware of the tragedy that had transpired.

It was only when the police apprehended them in Ogun State that they learned of Ojo’s demise. Adama added, “We only took his phone, the knife, and the ropes with us.”

This shocking narrative unveils the dark underbelly of a crime that has gripped the nation’s attention. The tragic tale of a casual encounter turned deadly serves as a stark reminder of the dangers lurking in the shadows.
