Iyabo Ojo: Mohbad’s Wife Interrogated Three Times in Police Probe

Renowned Nollywood luminary, Iyabo Ojo, has revealed that the authorities have questioned Omowunmi Aloba, the spouse of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

It’s been reported that Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, under puzzling circumstances.

In the ongoing inquiry into Mohbad’s demise, the Lagos State Police Command has apprehended multiple individuals linked to the case, including the auxiliary nurse, Feyisoya Ogedengbe, who attended to him before his demise, along with Sam Larry, Naira Marley, and Primeboy.

Nevertheless, the public persistently calls for the questioning of the singer’s wife, contending that she might possess crucial information pivotal to the investigations.

Addressing the demands for Omowunmi’s interrogation, Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram on Tuesday, informing that Mohbad’s wife has undergone three rounds of questioning.

“To the best of my knowledge, Mohbad’s wife has been interrogated three times. Two of these instances occurred on the day when Mohbad’s father was televised by the police, addressing the public about Mohbad’s case.

“On that same day, Mohbad’s father, mother, and wife were taken to Panti for questioning and to provide their statements. Another instance of questioning happened on September 21, which explains the absence noted by Tonto Dike and Senator Ishaku Abbo.”

Regarding the CCTV system at Mohbad’s residence, she clarified that the camera had never been installed or operational.

“Please be informed that the CCTV camera at Mohbad’s house was never installed or connected. It lacks a BVR and a Hard Disk.”
