In a shocking revelation, maverick singer Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, has raised serious allegations against Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, accusing him of intellectual property theft.

Brymo, famed for his hit track ‘Ara,’ claims that Burna Boy’s songs ‘City Boys’ and ‘I Told Them’ contain samples that directly mirror the title track of his highly anticipated upcoming album, ‘Macabre.’

Expressing his dismay, Brymo characterizes Burna Boy’s actions as a grievous “crime” and advocates for legal consequences to befall the accused artist.

Taking to his Instagram account, Brymo penned a statement: “By the end of this year, you will all remember that ‘Macabre’ had not yet seen the light of day in the public domain, and it was as confidential as it gets. ‘City Boy’ and ‘I Told You’ have traces that harken back to my work.”

“The presence of my album title track ‘Macabre’ as a hook in Burna Boy’s songs and his album title is an undeniable infringement on my intellectual property. This is a matter of grave concern and an actual criminal offense. Justice must be served,” Brymo emphasized.

The singer went on to caution against overlooking the issue, asserting that failure to address such violations could lead to regret and tarnish the legacy of countless music legends. “Let this be a lesson to those who turn a blind eye to the plight of artists. Are you not paying attention?” Brymo concluded.
