Controversy Surrounding a Tragic Demise Spurs Lagos State Government to Launch Coroner’s Inquest

Lagos State, Nigeria – The recent passing of a notable individual has ignited a firestorm of debate, prompting the Lagos State Government to initiate a comprehensive coroner’s inquest.

Commencing on October 13, this significant inquiry is currently unfolding within the confines of the Ikorodu Magistrate’s Court in Lagos State. At the center of this inquiry is Joseph, who took the stand to shed light on the complex circumstances surrounding his son’s life and untimely death.

During his testimony, Joseph disclosed that he and his son had shared a home for a period spanning 18 years. However, he was unable to provide the exact address where his late son resided with the enigmatic figure known as Marley. According to Joseph, his son chose to leave their shared home once he reached the legal age of consent, embarking on his own musical career while simultaneously supporting Marley.

Joseph revealed that he had encountered his son just three days prior to his tragic demise. A poignant moment in his testimony was when he spoke of seeing an image of his son’s casket, which was a deeply emotional experience.

As Joseph recounted, his son had given him the assurance that he could manage any disputes that may have arisen with Marley. This assurance notwithstanding, Joseph shared that his son’s properties were under the control of his mother-in-law, frequently conveying to him the intricacies of these holdings in the custody of his spouse’s family.

In a surprising turn, Joseph made a startling claim, suggesting that Mohbad’s wife had allegedly tampered with his meals by introducing sleeping pills during their cohabitation with Marley. The inquest continues to delve into these intricate details, aiming to provide clarity and closure regarding this perplexing and somber incident.
