Samir Nasri’s Message to Mbappe: Stay PSG, Forget Real Madrid

Former Arsenal standout and football icon Samir Nasri has expressed his strong advice to Kylian Mbappe, encouraging the young talent to prolong his association with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) rather than considering a move to Real Madrid in the upcoming summer.

Speculations regarding Mbappe’s potential switch to Madrid have persisted for numerous seasons, with the anticipation building as the end of his PSG contract draws near next summer. This could allow him to make the transfer as a free agent.

Nasri, a former France international, is a staunch advocate for Mbappe’s continued tenure at PSG. He firmly believes that it is in Mbappe’s best interest to maintain his prominent position with the Parisian club rather than seeking UEFA Champions League glory in Madrid.

Nasri expressed his sentiments during an interview with JDD, as reported by Le10Sport. He stated, “Absolutely, even in the realm of global football. His departure would undoubtedly create a void, but PSG’s financial prowess would enable them to secure alternative talents – although none could replace Mbappe, that’s undeniable.”

Nasri continued, “Currently, Kylian holds a pivotal role, be it within the French national team or at his club. I declared him the world’s finest player two years ago, and my opinion remains unchanged. Furthermore, he hails from the Paris region. If I were in his shoes, I would opt to stay with PSG, rather than venturing to Real Madrid in pursuit of the fiftieth Champions League title.”

He further emphasized the point, saying, “Had Marseille been under Qatari ownership during my tenure at the club, I would have never contemplated leaving. I firmly believe it’s more rewarding to reign as a monarch in your own kingdom.”
