President Bola Tinubu isn’t just satisfied with being the man of the hour; he wants a spot in the Guinness World Records for his presidential prowess. Speaking at the 10th German-Nigerian Business Forum in Berlin, Tinubu declared that he’s the reform maestro Nigeria didn’t know it needed.

With a grin, Tinubu reminded everyone of his time turning Lagos from a zero to the fifth-largest economy in Africa during his governorship from ’99 to ’07. “I come from the private sector, trained by Deloitte, and even served as the treasurer of Exxon Mobil,” he boasted, making corporate governance his playground.

“Look at Lagos now,” he urged, “I did that! From zero to hero,  Now, that’s a track record fit for a president.” According to Tinubu, his presidency is the natural progression of his epic Lagos performance.

He boldly claimed, “If Guinness doesn’t include me in their book, I’ll find a way to insert myself because I did it without expecting a gold star. My inaugural speech spilled the reform beans, and from day one, I’ve been turning Nigeria upside down for the better.”

Tinubu dropped these Guinness-worthy comments right after some important deals were inked between Nigerian and German companies.
