Burna Boy Considers Legal Action Against Bloggers

Grammy-award-winning artist, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed his contemplation of engaging 100 lawyers to pursue legal action against Nigerian bloggers for defamation.

Expressing his frustration, Burna Boy mentioned that he had considered funding a series of legal battles against the bloggers with the money he initially intended to give them to cease posting about him. However, he emphasized his consideration, acknowledging that bloggers are also striving to make ends meet.

In a Wednesday post on his X handle, Burna Boy conveyed his thoughts in Pidgin, stating, “The money I wanted to give to Instablog that time seems like I should use it to hire about 100 lawyers now. But I understand everyone is hustling, so it would pain me to go that route. Why are you all pushing me?” The artist questioned the relentless efforts of Nigerian bloggers to corner him, expressing his bewilderment at the situation.
